Congratulations to pony team driver Sarah Jane Cook on the birth of her daughter Charlotte on 8th January, weighing in at 7lb 11oz (pictured on the right).

Congratulations also to four-in-hand driver and British Team trainer Boyd Exell and his wife Preetha on the birth of their son James Michael on 10th January.

On a sadder note, we hear that Boyd has managed to have another accident and will be out of action with a broken hip for a couple of months. It appears that he was hit by a car while driving a tandem. His groom suffered a broken ankle and some bruises but fortunately the horses were OK. We wish them both a speedy recovery.
