The British Grooms Association (BGA) will provide support and advice to grooms and aims to continually improve the recognition of its members – working grooms – as professionals. Members’ benefits include:
Grooms in all equestrian disciplines are encouraged to join, from those working in riding schools to Olympic bound competition grooms. All are welcome and the BGA aims to offer support and advice in all aspects of working life. Anyone interested can join online at www.britishgrooms.org.uk or call 0845 331 6039 to be sent a membership join form. And at just £17.50 to join the BGA are keen to show value for money – the discounts available from sponsors and supporters should get grooms this back straight away! A voluntary board of Directors has been set up to help guide and support the development of the BGA. Grooms representing all sectors of the industry will also be invited to be involved as part of a professionals committee.
