BHDTA 2011 Annual General Meeting Members' Conference End of Season Party Best Western Premier Yew Lodge Hotel, Kegworth, Derbyshire DE74 2DF |
|||||
|
We’ve redesigned this year’s BHDTA Annual Conference to make it more open, more engaging and especially to give more time and opportunity for communication between members, between different interest groups, and between members and the council. Council members will be present at the Conference and will do their best to answer any questions and consider suggestions put forward by members. It is easier to get a definitive answer if the question is known in advance so any necessary research can be done. Please send any questions or suggestions to the BHDTA Office by Monday 10th October. Tea and coffee will be free and available to members all day. This has been part funded through the rebate received by the Combined Pony Fund after the disappointing meal at last year’s function. |

|
Lunch can be pre-booked at a cost of £9.50 per person and will be served in the Orchard Restaurant. Please make cheques payable to BHDTA.

Guest Speaker: Janice Shardlow, Head of Governance and Legal at the BEF Presentation on Anti-doping and Controlled Medication The
focus on equine anti-doping in FEI sports has never been so strong and the
FEI now requires all competitors not only at international level but also
national level to be governed by the same principles. Janice and a small
team have been working with the FEI disciplines in the Federation to set up
an FEI compliant system to operate at national level . She will give an
introduction to the new National Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled
Medication System which will apply to all members of the BHDTA from 1
January 2012 and explain what members can expect and what they need to do to
prepare themselves for the change.” |
