We are delighted to inform you that the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) and its Member Bodies are, with the support of Sport England grant funding, setting up a portal website www.hoofride.co.uk to promote horse riding and driving and the benefits of equestrian activities.

Members of the public will be able to access information on horse riding, driving and vaulting with advice on how to get involved from beginner level upwards. The site will then direct visitors on to the Member Bodies of the BEF appropriate for their interests and skill sets. We will be implementing this website alongside a sustained marketing and PR campaign to promote equestrianism as a sport and capitalise on the anticipated interest generated by the Olympic & Paralympic Games.

One key element of the Hoof website will be the ability to carry out a search of equestrian facilities by geographical area. The more detail provided on a listed centre then the more likely it is that people will be attracted to that facility.
