Anti doping guidelines for human and equine athletes

Please read these regulations carefully. The FEI will impose a minimum 2 year ban on anyone found using prohibited substances.

Equine doping and medication

From 5 April 2010 there is a new set of FEI Rules and a new Prohibited Substances List. For the moment that list will set out that Phenylbutazone (bute) and the other NSAIDs are prohibited substances. That situation may change after the FEI General Assembly in November 2010 when the issues will be debated in full and a decision taken.

Read our guidelines and information for Equine medication.
