InformationIn the highly competitive world of international combined driving, Chester Weber is a force to be reckoned with.
From 1993 to early 1999, Weber represented the United States Equestrian Team (USET) in pairs driving. As the top Advanced Pairs driver in the U.S., his name became synonymous with victory. A graduate of Cornell University, Chester Weber was the youngest driver ever to qualify for a World Pairs Driving Championship and the youngest driver ever to win the USET National championship. At 18, he was the youngest driver ever named to the USET, an accomplishment he considers among the highlights of his career. From 1997 through 1999, Weber made history by competing in and winning 12 consecutive advanced combined driving events.

As an outstanding finale to his years of pairs competition, Weber finished among the Top 10 in the 1999 World Pairs Championship held in Kecskemet, Hungary, where he was second in the challenging Dressage class and eighth overall.

Eager for an even greater challenge, Weber made the transition to Four-in-hand driving in 1999. He competed in his first international Four-in-hand show that same year and his trademark determination and persistence helped him become 1999 Reserve Champion Four-in-Hand. Weber consistently ranks as one of the top U.S. drivers and among the Top 10 internationally.

Anyone familiar with his abilities and past accomplishments does not doubt that Chester Weber will reach his goal of becoming a Four-in-Hand World Champion and remaining among the international Top 10 competitors.

Chester was 18 when he qualified for the 1993 WC Pairs in Gladstone, NJ, at which he won the presentation class. At the 1997 WC Pairs in Riesenbeck, Germany, Weber was a member of the sixth place USET squad. Weber is sponsored by Cosequin. After the WC Pairs in Kecskemét 1999 (8th place), he switched to driving a horse team. Winner of CAI Beekbergen 2000. Second place in first World Cup Driving 2001/2002. Together with Michael Freund (Germany) and Boyd Exell (Aus) he is a member of the Global Driving Team.
