Article

Definition of a Yellow Card.

Where there is abuse of the Horses in any form or incorrect behaviour towards Event Officials or any other party connected to the Event; The President of the Ground Jury, the Technical Delegate or the Steward, if appointed under Article 908, may deliver to the Person Responsible, either by hand or by any other suitable means, a Yellow Warning Card, as an alternative to instituting the procedures foreseen in the Legal System.

The Person Responsible may or may not accept the Warning Card.

If the Person Responsible does not accept a Card, which was delivered or presented during or after the Event, the Event Officials may take any action within their capacities deemed necessary and shall report the case to the BHDTA Council.

The acceptance of a Yellow Warning Card suspends any penalty until a new offence takes place. Where a Warning Card has been accepted the offence for which it was delivered shall be taken into consideration when deciding the penalty to be imposed for a similar offence committed within the next 24 months. (See Annex 23 BHDTA of the Rulebook for procedures)

Should the same Person Responsible receive one more warning card at the same or any other National Event within 24 months of the delivery of the first card, the case shall be reported to the BHDTA Council for their consideration, under Annex 23 of the BHDTA Rulebook.
