| Pairs marathon carriage
Black vinyl seats and silver-galvanised foot-plates & double-tiered backstep. The rear seats lift up to open 2 storage areas at the back. It has adjustable delayed steering and an adjustable sprung drivers seat. There is a turntable brake that operates from under the vehicle. It has 2 brake pedals (without any rubbers on) and the front brake pads have been removed. A full size Zilco Empathy collar with ring-end traces and quick-release fittings on the collar were also taken, plus a ex-large galvanised dog cage. Carriage recovered by police in North Kent September 2008 A competition spec horse carriage has been found, which appears to be pulled by a single horse but has an alternate pole with it, allowing two horses to pull it. It has front and rear hydraulic disc brakes and solid tyres. It is stamped with the number 06.2.98.002, most likely the date followed by a 3 digit serial number. Horse Box Lorry Reg. Y244 KBU, stolen from Woodplumpton, Preston, Lancashire, overnight 23rd/24th July 2008, Leyland Daf 7.5 ton Horsebox, alloy hunter type box (unpainted) with Luton. Burgundy cab and tailgate, liveried with "Carriage Horses" on front, "HORSES" on tailgate, and "J. Giddins, Woodplumpton" on both doors. The vehicle is also fitted with 3.5 metre awning. carriage recoveredSouth Yorkshire Police have recovered a horse carriage - make not known. A black plate tack welded to the carriage displays 01-1-014-R-2344 and a silver plate which is stuck on displays 10714 0J4.
